cigarettes and pinball..I wanted to stay til I was 21 but they wouldn't let me

I went to O. P. Walker High School. Up the street was a Frost-Top, owned at the time by a Vietnamese family. I would skip lunch, take my lunch money to the Frost-Top after school, and eat Lot-a-burgers and home-made eggrolls, with a big chocolate milkshake. They also made really good onion rings.

well i didnt get lunch money. my parents would put money on my lunch card at school. so i HAD to eat school lunch. but it wasnt that bad. And I never took a bag lunch in my life.

i saved my lunch money in my backpack. i rarely ever bought lunch at school...all they sold was food that would make me obese. so i took my own lunch.
if i ever forgot my lunch, i'd use the money as back up...but that rarely happened.
if one of my friends didn't bring their lunch, i'd give them some of my money so they could buy something at one of the many food carts on campus.
i felt bad if they didn't have their lunch and i did.
