First of all, relax ! Just be positive and put it like this: God works in a mysterious way, when God meant it to happened it just as easy as a 1,2,3..

Second, after you have an intercourse, don't get up too early, try to put pillows under your bottom to help the sperm penetrate better for about an hour.

Eat healthy--both of you to increase quality of sperm and egg. Quite smoking, alcohol and coffee...eat more vitamin E such as cabbage pills.

Avoid stress...Good luck dear !

First, find out when you're ovulating. An ovulation predictor test is really handy for this if you don't know for sure. Most women ovulate between days 10 and 14 of their cycle, but not all! I ovulate on day 8 or 9, so it took me a while to figure out when to have sex. You can get ovulation predictor kits at Babyhopes.com (listed below) if you can't find them locally. Use them as instructed.

As for the sex, once you know you are fertile, have sex at least once a day for about 4 days. I elevated my hips with a pillow for about 20 mins afterwards, don't know how much this helps but I'm preggers now so it certainly doesn't hurt to try!

It can take up to a year to conceive, even for young healthy women, so don't give up! A lot of conceptions end up as a normal period due to gross abnormalities with the egg, sperm or both, and this is definitely for the best!

It took me 8 months to conceive, but in that time I got really healthy by taking pre-natal supplements, eating a really good diet and exercising. This helped take my mind off how long it was taking and is paying off now as I'm so sick with morning (all day!) sickness that I can hardly eat and I sleep all the time.

If after 12 months you are still having no luck, both you and your husband should see a fertility specialist just to make sure everything is in working order.

Good luck!

Congratulations on making the decision to try to conceive. I wish you all the best of luck! I've got some tips and tricks that I learnt from the forum I will provide you with the link to here:

Before one actually tries to conceive, it seems like it will happen immediately! Truth be told, many women take up to a whole year to conceive. After that year, doctors may intervene with medical help.

Perhaps a good place to start is to determine if you are ovulating. Most women ovulate 14 days after the first day of their last period. You can do ovulation tests around that time to determine when you are ovulating. If you do not get a positive result, a doctor may help you to ovulate by starting you on a medicine called clomid.

Some women slightly elevate their hips for 20 minutes after intercourse, to ensure that more of the sperm comes in contact with the cervix. 20 minutes is an adequate amount of time, because after that time, any sperm that did not enter, will be killed by the differing pH of the vagina. Some women however, choose to use 'instead' cups, which are more commonly used for one's period.

There is also something called 'Fertility Tea', or a similar name. Apparently, it will help you to conceive.

Some women have also tried half a tablespoon of cough syrup for a few days before ovulation, claiming that it helps to thin out the lining of the uterus, hence making it easier for the baby to implant itself into the uterine wall. I'm not sure if it's safe to try, or even if it works - but it's just another tidbit of information for you!

For the average couple, having sex once per day provides the best chance of getting pregnant.

The woman-on-top position isn't great for pregnancy, since ejaculate may flow out.

FACTS:
Most women have a 15 to 25 percent chance of getting pregnant during their cycle.
Nearly 50 percent of couples conceive during the first 3 months.
About 75 percent of couples conceive during the first 6 months.
Up to 90 percent of couples conceive during the first year.
On the average, there are 280 days from the first day of your last period to your due date

I'm going to provide you with the link to a trying to conceive forum that I think you will find really useful and interesting. It's full of supportive women with boundless knowledge about these issues. I learnt so much there that I doubt I would have learnt otherwise. Hope you sign up!

Cinamon powder and honey :
INFERTILITY
Yunani and Ayurvedic have been using honey for years in medicine to strengthen the semen of men. If impotent men regularly take two tablespoon of honey before sleeping, their problem will be solved. In China, Japan and Far-East countries, women who do not conceive and to strengthen the uterus has been taking cinnamon powder for centuries. Women who cannot conceive may take a pinch of cinnamon powder in half teaspoon of honey and apply it on the gums frequently throughout the day, so that it slowly mixes with the saliva and enters the body. A couple in Maryland, America had no children for 14 years and had left hope of having a child of their own. When told about this process husband and wife started taking honey and cinnamon as stated above, the wife conceived after a few months and had twins at full term.

2 months is nothing. Try 5 years and about a dozen doctors. All of which said it was impossible even if we did have IVF.

I have the best son in the world now. He just turned 3 years old.

Some tips from the expert. ;-)

Tell him to stop masturbating, period. Learn about your cycles and when you are the most fertile do not let him come for 3 days prior to your window. Have sex in the missionary position with your a$$ on top of a pillow. When he comes in you make sure none of it leaks out and then (and this is very important) use a vibrator to have a few orgasms by yourself. Your orgasms will help the sperm to get where it wants to go.

Then make sure you give your hubby a lot of blow when you are on your period. It does nothing for getting pregnant but it keeps him happy and reminds him how wonderful you are when you are telling him not to masturbate (a very annoying thing for a wife to be controlling about).

if it is a girl, name her Olea - it means moon and it is pronounced OH-LEE-ah.

Okay, here's what worked for me. I went on to Femta and got a free trial of their calendar and put in all the information for me so that it could predict which days I was more fertile. www.femta.com I've been trying for about 6 years and was never able to get pregnant.
Alright, here's the other bit to it. Okay, they're called Instead Softcups. They are supposed to be the alternative to tampons and pads during your menstration but I figured if they can do that then they can do this. After sex I put one in (and I know it sounds crazy but it soo worked for me) I went to sleep and didn't get up all night.
A month later I was feeling weird and had completley forgotten about it and just had a feeling that I should get a pregnancy test and I was pregnant. ( Had to take 3 tests to convince myself)
It's really worth trying cause you don't have to worry about spending alot of money to do it.
And...I would like to say I have a beautiful 5 1/2 month old daughter!
Good luck and baby dust to you!!!

The first year trying without success, doctor ask to keep trying until 2 years and then only you can seek medical help. We went for medical help last year after 6 yrs of trying. Doctor did Intra-uterine insemination (IUI) and I conceived straight away. The cost is cheap RM1000 in Kuala Lumpur.

One thing that worked for me was to start taking prenatal vitamins while you are trying to get pregnant. They have over the counter ones if you cant get a script from your OB.It can take a fertile couple up to a year to concieve, so keeping track of your fertile time (2 weeks before period) will help aswell. Besides thoose things I would just relax, stress can hinder fertility. Good luck!

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.
