I did not mean it in a "corse way", It's beyound me in most circumstances to be rude. The questions here were ......... I thought I'd ask something. Maybe I should not have . I hope I did not hurt anyones feelings.

My middle sister is mentally between the age of 8-14 years old but her physical age is 40. Every day is a new day for her and every day is also a challenge for the rest of my family. If you have seen the Hallmark movie "My Sister Rides the Bus" with Rosie O Donnel, her character describes my sister to a T. Please don't feel sorry for her because she would not want you to feel that way because of her disability. If you want to help find a program where you could go and volunteer your time believe me they would greatly appreciate you! I have grown up with the knowledge that she will never get any older mentally and that someday she will be my responsibility. I accept that because she is my sister and because of her I have learned to love unconditionally and I do not judge others. My sister has the biggest heart she would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed one. I used to feel sorry for her because she is always in constant turmoil with herself-she is a little girl trapped in an adult body and it is very frustrating for her. I have learned patience and understanding from her. If you want to feel for the mentally disabled or intellectually disabled as they are called now feel empathy not pity and do something to help. You could make a big difference in someone's life.

It is OK to feel sorry for mentally challenged people but take the time to really see and know them. Often they have some skill or ability that will blow you out of the water. They can be perceptive, honest, and highly skilled. I know one person who may not progress above the mental age of 8 in his life but he can use his voice to imitate almost any male TV personality and can do a wide variety of commercials verbatium with inflection. Cool huh!

Dude, you've got it all wrong. Mentally challenged people have it made. Sometimes I wish I was mentally challenged, then I wouldn't have to worry about global warming, world war III, where I'm going to live next year, how I'm going to lower my blood pressure or any of that crap.
Mentally challenged people have it made in the shade. If I could live in a home and slobber all over myself, I would gladly change places (provided I have no memory of my current life, because then it would be a living hell). Give it to me, holmes. Crapping in my pants, not understanding anything, being scared of colors, twirling around in one spot for absolutely no reason--I'll take it all. Let someone else pay for my taxes, rent, bills, food and clothing. Let me rock back and forth in the autistic peace of mental retardation. I'll take it.

You don't really have a question here. But you need not feel sorry for them. Because they are in better standing than normal people. They are considered "innocent" I know so many of them who have the sweetest heart!!! Maybe you feel sorry for them because you know they are really not a strong person mentally? And you don't want to be in their shoes, in this life? Do you believe in Judgement Day? These souls will not be judged, they are already considered innocent. They are in good standing. There is no judgment for them or animals. They ought to feel sorry for us.

delight is the genuine concern. it relatively is what led to lucifer or devil to be kicked out of heaven and to be the ruler on the earth. That became into until eventually Jesus got here. precise now issues are so tousled via fact the earth is under 2 regulations. God's and devil's. delight is what retains human beings from forgiving. Anger and bitterness is what stops human beings from forgiving. no longer their psychological prestige. we are all mentally challenged to the degree that we are able to enable ourselves to be molded right into a loving individual.

No. In many regards, they are the fortunate ones. Many retain an innocents that we lose. Further, their views on life are generally better than ours.

Before we are born we choose our life, our spirits learn lessons for our souls to grow.
Mentally challenged people chose to be that way before they were born. Nobody that did not choose the life they are living exists...
So, don't feel sorry for them, their souls are learning the lessons necessary for evolution of their spirit.
Feel sorry those that live the easy life...what are they learning when everything comes to them on golden forks?

Okay, and are we supposed to tell you that it is okay to feel sorry for them? I have seen some mentally challenged people who were highly successful in their endeavors to be productive in our society.
