The use of make up became one among the priorities of every female. It enhances physical beauty which gives a feeling of confidence,elegance,prestige,and boosts ones inner feelings in general.This overall popularity in the make up usage became a great asset in the field of business. Cosmetics businesses are soaring high with success in these products. Advertisements made great influence on this. With this obvious achievement ,this business became highly attractive which emerged into overflooding brands and varieties of make ups.
Confused what to use? Choose a kind suitable to your color,texture and the one that suits you best not to forget to mention that you should try to choose one which fits best in your budget.What you wished-a make up with different shades in one might be available in the near future who knows.
Do not be so obsessed with those make ups. Just light and simple would be fine. Simplicity is beauty as they say, Many might disagree but I am reminding you that make ups just enhances the physical beauty. How you will norture your wholeself ,keeping in a high morale will give you the real meaning of beauty. Your real beauty depends largely on your heart and not on the make up.

Well, there are different skin shades and types. Plus, your make up needs are different in the summer than in the winter. Then take into account aging skin, young skin and skins with special needs.
So as technology improves so does the wealth of products!
In the end, taking good care of your skin and understanding your skin's needs is important in choosing the best brand and line.
Like when I go on stage, I use coverFX it's thick coverage ideal for the harsh lights.
Day to day, I'll wear Maybelline Pure (ideal for acne prone skin), or if my skin is looking tired and needs an extra bit of oomph I'll use the Revlon line for aging skin. It has an extra bit of vitamins and goodness to help my skin cope.
But, make up doesn't make us beautiful, it only helps us enhance our beauty. So picking the right make up is key, so you don't look overly made up. Because, overly made up is bad, bad for you and your skin!
Skin needs to breath, and it needs moisture.
The rest is just to hide minor flaws.

based on my own expireances the less make up you use the healthier your skin will be. Your skin needs to breath! the less foundation you use the better. i found that moisturizing creams work the best. eyeshadows: powder based once are very gantle on your skin and water based mascara. I wash my face only with a regular soap and put some moisturizers on. as far as the brand goes, I like avon the best.

Most women need make up to enhance their features and cover temporary blimishes. Those who don't are just blessed but in the minority if it's mainstream, American popularity you're going for. If you are looking for a back woods mama, then expect pit hair and yeller toenails. Ya can't have it both ways. Make up wins.

Well, COMMON SENSE would tell you that MANY COMPANIES are competing for your money. Ever heard of capitalism. Besides, demand is the thriving force in this. If women weren't so vain and didn't buy this stuff, there wouldn't be that many companies trying to capitalize on them.

If you wouldn't mind my opinion, I would like to say women should not wear make up. If they must it should only be barely anything. I do not like seeing women and later finding out that they are not as attractive as they "creams and coloring" makes them seem. I also feel that it's hiding your face. Now for your question, my mother uses "Artistry" it seems to work the best. I hope I helped you out.

why there are so many companies? Well they all want money, have different formulatons etc., as with any industry.
Why use make-up? Coz you want to 'ENHANce' what you already have. Make-up doesn't make one beautiful just helps emphasize it.

I think because it is a multi billion dollar business and there are a lot of companies that have their hand in the cookie jar, so to speak.
