I've heard Maine is beautiful, why would you wanna move? Keep in mind that while a brand new place may be what you are looking for - once you settle in you have the odds of wanting to move again. The grass is never greener!

I think you should move to Rochester, Mn. If you are ever sick, you have the best clinic in the world. If you don't like crime, this is the place for you. The unemployment is almost non-existent, there is a college in town, and you have access to the twin cities and LaCrosse, Wi within an hour or so.

if you want the opposite, geographically and in pretty much everything else, move here to SoCAL. The los angeles area. It's gonna be really different from maine, but at least we're a blue state also.
