I am proud to hear a 14 y/o proclaimed christian ask if we are on the right path...I was beginning to think that Christianity didn't allow you to ask questions like that anymore. You realize that you could have been hung on a cross for asking that question. (as recently as 200 years ago... Right here in North America!) I think most of us are on the right path. I'm not just talking about Christians! The good and the bad come from all different beliefs and faiths!

well hon I'll tell you this if you believe John 3:16, that Christ is alive and sits at the right hand of God making intercession for us, that He is still the same yesterday, today and forever, if you believe in Father, Son and Holy Ghost and you live by the word (Bible) of God, you pray and fast, read the word daily and pray for others as you do yourself, and spread the love of Father, Son and Holy Ghost then yes we are on the right path. Praise God. all the best

It's the words "one and only" that bother me the most about your question. If you meant those words only to apply to yourself, and this is what you believe, then you might be on the right path. But if you are inferring that anyone with beliefs other than your own is somehow lacking, then you are truly not practicing the words spoken and the ideas taught by the man whose name you have mentioned.

nope. The priests are molesting children and the church does not do anything about it. Jesus was Jewish and would probably have killed himself if he knew that his ideas would cause so much chaos in the world. His ideas were not about heaven and hell, converting people to "find Christ" etc. etc. it is just one interpretation of history. finding the right path is understanding yourself and figuring out how you fit into the world and how you can contribute to it.

I think that for you to ask that question that you may have doubts about what you believe. Get in the Word and talk to God. He will make it very clear to you. Talk to fellow christians and preachers or teachers. "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God". You just need a little faith.

Yes. Just be careful not to define Christ too narrowly. He takes unexpected forms.
