I admit at first, I just brushed it off until I learned about it. What can be done to stop this?

It makes me feel somewhat uneasy, how cruel and stupid we are for ruining the environment. I really wish I could live a environmental friendly way of life, but I can't afford to buy a Hybrid car or make my entire home environmental safe.

Read both sides of the argument. I'm not going to tell you what to believe, but how can you make an informed decision by only listening to the one viewpoint that is trumpeted via the news?

Despite what Mr. Gore thinks, his 'consensus' (which consists mostly of biologists and chemists who have little to no authority to comment on climate issues) does not exist. No data is conclusive, no matter which side you take. Don't believe everything that is spit out of a supercomputer or a "scientist's" mouth. The evidence thus far does not warrant a large economic response.

I have read both sides and made up my mind (although I'm still open to new arguments/evidence). I suggest you do the same.

No..there is no such thing as global warming. It is a democratic fantasy. In the 1970's the same morons were yelling ice age. They said we were going to freeze over because the suns rays were going to be blocked out by the pollution we were putting into the air...cause smog...which would block the sun and we'd all freeze over and die.
Well???
Where is our ice age???
Now the same democratic morons are yelling global warming.
In twenty years they'll be yelling ice age again.

A lot of things scare me. I recycle, I pray and I teach others to be more environmentally friendly and I ride my bike a lot. I am afraid of war, too. I am afraid of fundamental radicalists and flying. But, I still fly and I teach arabs and other muslims in my college classes. Some of them are bright and wonderful; others scare the **ap out of me. So, I don't know. I think you just have to take each day as it comes and be the best person you can be.

No.

We've seen about a 1 degree F. rise in yearly averaged surface temperatures over the globe in the last 100 years. Is it real? Probably. Have we contributed to it? Probably. Is it a disaster in the making? No.

Yes, it scares me. But it's beyond my control, besides little things I can do in my community. I limit my car trips by riding the bus and train and by walking. And my power company uses renewable sources. I could call my congressman or participate in demonstrations, but I guess I'm not that much of an activist.

No, I do my part to take care of the environment because it makes sense, but I don't think global warming is even happening.

What is the use of getting scared? We should try to acquire the correct information and spread awareness among others through various means of media available. What ever possible we can do we should do.

Whats scary is that it is happening, and still don't believe it, because they can't even look at the facts.

We will eventually fry ourselves, and blame it on the Arabs.

The US consume 1/4 of the world oil. (Psst...it ain't Middle East that is causing this...its Norte America folks! WAKE UP)
