I see my gravel driveway with my white Ford Explorer inside my garage. Near the window is a brand new porch that was just constructed this morning. Across the lawn, I see my vast gardens all in bloom, flowers and vegetables both, and behind them are huge huge pine trees against the fading light of the sky.

Well, I see a lawn of 6 acres I need to get mowed today, a garden of vegetables, an herb garden , which both need tended to and a lettuce patch between my 2 sheds that has sustained me with wonderful organic greens w/ the bugs, LOL , and a big 75 year old maple tree my Grandparents planted that shades the lettuce in the hot afternoon sun. Beside that is a beautiful sycamore tree that those damn J. Beetles are stripping . Looking back at me is my 18 year old Down Syndrome daughter chomping at the bit , thinking to herself as she can't speak well, God, I wish you would go mow Mom so I can watch my DVDs and crank up the CD Night at the Roxbury and dance with it on Dads gigantic speakers so the house starts a rockin !! Oh , the joys of parenthood and owning a farm, I wouldn't trade mine for a thousand bucks! I might consider the farm for a million though! Na, been here too long to ever leave my sanctuary. It's the best. Thanks for the great person you are to this site Smiley Cat :)

I'm next to the door out to my dog's yard. I see a screen door outside of it, with metal bars on top and a metal grate across the bottom (he has a thing for killing screen doors). Outside is his porch, with a wooden deck, his grey, hard plastic doghouse with a bumper-sticker on the side and some old leather inside for him to sleep on, a white ceiling with a single light bulb (it's not a very big porch, afterall), the grey vinyl walls of our house, with a green hose wrapped up and hanging on the wall. Down the porch steps is the slate all around his yard, with a large patch of grass in the middle. In the far corner, there's a lovely garden, with balloon flowers, poppies, and blanket flowers. The garden has a wire fence around it (Wolfy, my dog, likes gardens even more than screen doors). It's all surrounded by an 8ft tall, dark-wooden fence, with cinder blocks around the foot of it, acting as planters (but, alas, our Morning Glories were taken out by an invasive species last year; you usually can't even see the fence because of the, literally, hundreds of morning glories on it!). Anyway, along the right we have some sunflowers, fully grown, but not blooming yet, and the wooden bench my dog loves so much. On the far left, facing the road, there's a little gap under the fence where my dog stares at passer-bys. And on the farthest right corner of my dog's yard, where it meets our shed, and has a gate on one side and a door on the other (making a ~6ft square little area off the side from the rest of the yard), is my adorable dog. He's a beautiful husky, getting on a little in years (around 10), with gorgeous brown eyes. He's Siberian, and he looks just like his name sake, a wolf (well, maybe a little pudgier). He's currently flopped on the black rubber mat we have against the shed, one of his favorite places to sun bathe. The sun is shining on everything, especially the Walnut tree spreading over the fence, making it look like we're in the forest, not on Main Street. Wonderful, simply wonderful!!
Thanks, this was fun!

Bars. A cement wall. Barbed wire. A guard tower. Every few minutes a light crosses my window.

Actually I see myself because it's very dark outside and I mostly see the reflection of the room I'm in. I can kind of see my wind chime because it's moving.
