To me marriage is all about communication and trust. You also need to be able to compromise so that both people are happy. If you completely trust the other person than you know that no matter what comes you have someone there that has your back no matter what. That's a really good feeling.

Great conversation, being totally comfortable with one another, always making each other laugh, supporting one another, being able to argue but still know the love is there, enjoying sex whenever it happens, whether going through a horny or a dry patch, and understanding that sometimes you're just "tired," and that it doesn't mean it's the end of the world, knowing you can count on the other person, feeling secure, feeling safe, feeling totally loved.

a true meeting of minds and bodies. as the bible says two becoming one in all things. that is what a good marriage means to me. each one completing the other. finishing each others sentences and thinking on the same level. loving each other unconditionally.

Communication, trust, fighting, making up, sex, communication, OK you get the drift. Everyone is saying all the right things but please know, marriage is supposed to be forever.... forever anything is not easy... there will be many times you have to work at it, whether he is wrong or you or who's family did what... work at it and you can make it. Love does conquer all, but you have to stand up and work had to conquer anything.
