Not a whole lot scares me nowadays except the occasional unexpected spider crawling across my shoulder or when my 21 month old daughter runs like there's no tomorrow or climbs up on something. But I do have a funny story from my childhood:
When I was about 4 or 5 years old I used to have nightmares about the toilet overflowing. You been in that situation when the toilet is filling up and there is nothing you can do about it? Well when your a kid it is magnified a hundred times in your dream.
I know it sounds crazy.

I'm scared of the ocean. I can't go in past my ankles. I think it's just not knowing what's out there that terrifies me the most. Plus I get knocked down into it every time I try to walk out any further. Talk about peeing your pants.

The things that scare me are lighting, the news, and the thought of being alone.

Besides spiders? Being stalked, trapped, caught and tortured. Or someone grabbing my ankles when I got out of bed. Or seeing someone staring at me through a crack in my closet door. Ewwwww! Let's face it....... the horrible things that one human can do to another is scarier than any thing that could happen in nature.

Alligators. And next Friday we're flying to Fort Lauderdale. And my husband wants me to go on one of those water skipping boats into the everglades. Guess what? I'm spending a lot of time at the hotel pool.
