You might have a dead or low voltage battery which could be the
result of a defective alternator.
The connections to your battery could also be corroded,
look for a white, powdery substance around where the
cables connect to the battery. If you see it, you can remove
the cables, clean them with a wire brush and put them back on.
Try turning everything off (A/C, lights, radio, etc) before
trying to start your car.
If it starts, you should have a mechanic check out the battery
and alternator.

the a/c wouldnt have anything to do with it starting, but you should check the battery cables too. The battery or altenator would be the first and cheapest to check. Then go for the starter if that dont work, I was having some probs with my toyota and the battery needed more water. Also do you have any problems with the ignition switch when you put the key in?

I'll agree it could be a starter, battery or starter relay. Also the neutral safty switch for the transmission could be faulty. But usually in these cases the cables and connectors for the battery are simply corroaded. Sometimes alarm systems even disconnected ones may interfere with vehicle starting.

no, not unless the a/c is on when you're trying to start the car.
if you turn the key and hear a clicking, its likely the starter. one tip to get it to start once or twice is to bang the starter with a hammer.
check google images for what a starter looks like.
starter will go for about $150 if you have someone put it in for you

Check the starting engine. Maybe it ain't getting enough electricity, or it might be broken. Good luck!
