Grey's Anatomy is wittier, more thought provoking and more intense than Housewives. When Grey's ends an episode, I often think about it later or the next day, wondering how certain conflicts will be resolved. Also, I think the characters are more dimensional than the gals on Housewives. Housewives is campy, funny, urbane and features a lot of slapstick comedy. I enjoy both, but if I could only watch one, it would be Grey's Anatomy.

Can't chose...maybe we should have a "Desperate Housewife meets Grey's Anatomy" thing going on. Desperate Housewives is funny and original...and Grey's Anatomy is more sardonic and witty. It was helpful when they followed each other...and now I understand they are moving GA to Thursdays. Bummer.

I LOVE Grey's Anatomy - the story lines are still fresh and but are not so far fetched. The cast is hot and they are all great actors.
Desperate Housewives is getting old. Last season was so stupid. I didn't even care if I missed an episode or two. There are too many murder plots.

Grey's Anatomy. It has everything you need to make a good television show. The drama the comedy and romance its perfect. And all the characters are different and have their own little things that make the show good.
