Just limited to civil rights as far as advancing and hiring people based on ability and not on race, have you seen Bush's Secretary of State (a black woman,) former Sec. of Defense (black man,) nominee for Supreme Court (hispanic man?)

It also seems it's easier to have civil rights when you're not having buildings fall down on you after terrorists ram them with air planes.

Meanwhile democrats' records on civil rights include guys like Byrd wearing hoods while burning crosses and beating up black people, and guys like Jesse Jackson being happy to be in "Hymie Town" (his name for NY.)
