Very good question. The answer is that there's no profit in peace. The U.S. is a war monger. They sell more arms than any other nation in the universe. And all those new fangled weapons need to be tested in real-life battles. This is why the U.S. is involved in conflict after conflict. Comprende?

Everything by peace? Do you really believe that? Perhaps you should read Darwin. We are only slightly evolved animals. So what could any other animal gain from peaceful existence? Starvation. Imperialism is the only way any country has ever become a superpower.
Notice historically, that peace rallies make people very angry, inciting more violence. Give it up. Evolutionary instincts prevail regardless of whatever environmental conditioning you had to undergo to arrive at this quandry.

the almighty dollar, calls the shots now days it seems as if every ones knowledge is turned backwards, on so many levels.
Greed, power and selfish gratification at it's best.
you ever notice how people don't say hello walking down the street? doors are locked, guns, drugs, jails are packed.
