If a horse farts he is letting out gas and it is very good. When you ride a horse they are supposed to let out gas so that the girth is not to tight. Also so they can move there vowels. A horse lets out gas just like us. That question is just like you asking your self if it is bad that humans fart. Horses are like humans we go to the bathroom and do number 2 and they go to the bathroom to but not in a restroom. The urinate and we do too. Horses have more than us and wiegh a whole lot more. They even do our hard work sometimes also they are very beatiful animals.

No, it is not bad if your horse farts. It's healthy. Same with a person. In with the good, out with the bad. The horse is just letting out some gas. So what?

does the 'also' refer to the fact that one contributor to the 'global warming' quandry is supposed to be cow-expelled methane? If so, i have wondered the same thing. We have 40 horses here. But, I am sure all aminals pass gas. deer, mice, whales? I wonder if any bored professors have ever written a grant to fund research into the effects of ferret farts.

No, it's entirely normal. Horses eat grass, grain and hay which generates a lot of gas. If the horse couldn't fart, he might get colic and die!

Some people who answered this question need a life and a maturity REALLY bad. Anway, yes, I don't know about why, but they do. Some way more than others. I really don't think it smells that bad at all.
