How far is "too far" anyways?

For the record, the "Bloody Mary" episode was one of my favorites, but it also was one of the most controversial. What, if anything, offended you the most about it?

i think they went to far when they squirted the pope in the face. even though i was laughing when i saw that. i think it was a little to far. when i saw that i think someone in the room said "they are going to hell for sure".
i'm not even catholic and i thought that was a little to much.

I think if you don't like it, then turn off the TV. South Park is not a show that shys away from anything. Gays, Scientologists, Religion, etc. It's funny and I enjoy it. The Bloody Mary show was pretty bad, but I still laughed.

"too far" is a matter of individual perception. It was "too far" for you if it offended or upset you. Everything you experience will cause some level of emotional response. However, each individual reacts differently. Don't look to others to help you decide what you already feel is or is not true. Go with your gut feeling and relax.

it fairly is why faith is stupid. Killing over a sketch guy in a undergo tournament? taking pictures a physician over a scientific technique? Years after years of two international locations bombing the sh*t out of another, and for what? just to tutor who's god has a miles better d*ck. the international would be a greater perfect place whilst faith has long gone the way of the dinosaurs.

South Park can never do too far. They are being stupid and that is funny. The stupider it is the more sure you are that it is funny. If you don't believe me get a copy of "Cannibal: The Musical" It is really dumb and yet still funny.

I think they have gone a bit too far in quite a few episodes.

They are usually pushing the envelope on good taste, but there will always be a group of people right there cheering them on for more. The sad truth is that people rely on cheap thrills and laughs; nobody seems interested in more cerebral entertainment.

I think there have been a couple episodes where they went "too far" - at least in my opinion.

It was funny but yea at times I felt they went way to far.

You are talking about it.....and others are, too. So the creators got exactly what they aimed for. Interest...good and bad.
