While we were sharing spooky stories tonight, my friend Alex said he had a roomate that had lived around the world, including Peru. There is aparently a well known, extremely haunted mansion where he was living, and it was a nice, fancy place, but abandoned due to it's reputation. No one would apparently go near it. He said a well known journalist and skeptic of the superstition decided to spend a whole night in the mansion to disprove the local lore. Supposedly after the night was over, they found him completely insane, and he remains locked up to this day. Does this have any validaty?

The place is called "casa matusita" and there are many stories about it but none have been confirmed. It is located in front of what used to be the american embassy downtown so some people say that all the stories where made up to keep people from moving in and having a direct view into the embassy.
