I truly believe there is nothing wrong with that. Do know that although the couple may be comfortable with it they need to be prepared that many people aren't, they need to be prepared for looks/comments etc.
I can't help it, but scrolling through the answers given, there was a girl who answered - no absolutly not, the Bible speaks against it. THAT IS THE FURTHEST FROM THE TRUTH! So I would just like you and anyone else reading to know the TRUTH.....
In Jud 3:5-7 and Ezra 10:2-3, we find intermarriage being condemned, not on racial grounds but faith grounds. Believers were taking unbelievers as a spouse. We must listen to what the Bible says and what it does not say. In 1 Sam 16:7, we see that God looks on the heart, not the skin.
He will give you a peace in your heart about what is right for you.
just listen

yes I do. Infact I think all races shouldn't have to feel they have to stay in one race. In fact black isn't just BLACK anymore. We're mixed with a lot of different other races it's just a skin color. Infact! I'M black. I don't look it because I'm light-skined and my boyfriend is black skined but he's a lot darker then me. One day we were at a movie and some white people kept staring at us like "what are they doing?" I hate that sometimes because I'm black too!!! These days you can't tell who's who. People used to ask if I was mixed or white and I was neither; of coarse I had things in my background but I was black. PERIOD. It hurts to know that people can be very narrow minded. And get this I have natural red hair and I'm a Cute girl, but people consider me not black because of my skin color. I got a little more tanish than before because I am a tan color and my hair dark red with natural higlights (not tryting to put my self out there but) I'm tired of people being scared of what people will say.... If you love them be together! Race should not matter and even still! How could you tell...?????????

If they are a good match for each other. I will say that there can be cultural differences that you probably won't notice until you've been together for a long time. I have a white friend who married a black guy after they dated for about 3 years. They love each other and have a beautiful family, but they have had to work through many differences that are just cultural differences. Every couple is gonna have to work through some type of differences, and this is one that can happen in an interracial relationship. My friend doesn't regret marrying him, but it can get tough for them at times because it is hard to compromise on cultural things.

Ever thought of the potential children if things click on a permanent basis? Well, think of the children. They have no input on this, but THEY will live with the consequences.
I have a niece who just turned 18, who just recently asked her (white) mother, why she had done that to her. She obviously is not happy for being a mulatto. This despite the fact that she is one of the most gorgeous young women I have ever seen. I am talking Vanessa Williams and Vanity rolled into one, with a little Beyonce Knowles thrown in and lets not forget Halle Berry. Got the picture?
In fact I suggested she should get in touch with Playboy, now that she is of age. But she has no interest in that. Personally I think she would be a shoo in with Hef. :-)

Probably not. Most blacks have significantly lower IQ's than whites and a predilection for violence and psychopathic behavior. Dating a black is extremely risky unless you have alot of experience judging people's character.
I know that the PC police will go apeshit over what I just said but this is reality and women, especially need to make good decisions based on reality.
That being said, I have met fine black people who aren't like this in the slightest. They are rare. And they belong with me and mine and not with the type of black people who are mainstream.
Often, the type of black person who is highly educated and of strong moral fiber has difficulty finding someone who is like themselves, among other blacks. In fact, other blacks tend to treat them like ****, if not outright victimize them. These people can, and probably should, seek out husbands and wives from among upper middle class whites.

Race doesn't matter and neither does stereotypes. If they love eachother, that's all that matters.
Yes, a white girl and black dude can be together. same with a black dude with a white girl.

The fact that this is a question scares me of how racially divided the world still is!!!! Love knows no color and it's not the 1960's anymore....you have to take the first step in ending racism by not participating
PANACEA - YOUR ANSWER IS SO OFF THE WALL I HOPE YOU ARE JOKING - IF WE ARE JUDGING INTELLIGENCE OF OTHERS HERE, I'D SAY YOU BETTER GET YOUR BOOTY IN CLASS TO LEARN ABOUT CULTURAL COMPETENCE....I'M SURE YOU'D FIT IN A BLACK PERSON'S CATERGORY OF A TYPICAL WHITE RACIST SKINHEAD WHO PROBABLY HAS WHITE SHEETS HANGING IN HIS CLOSET!

Well of course if they like eachother!
However, even you you are ok with it, unfortunately other people may not be-racism still definitely exists. Looks, comments...just be prepared. Having said that-don't let other people's ignorance get in the way of your happiness.

If it's you and you are asking the question, you are not ready. If it's someone else and you are trying to get a defense going, it's not your concern. People should go out with people.
