Ok you get to have all the vampire powers like super senses and strength and speed. You can seduce people with your Gaze.

You probably would be a hit on the Club scene but wouldnt be able to go eat breakfast at Denny's after the club closed.

You wouldn't be able to eat italian food anymore since theres tons of Garlic in it.

You can shapeshift and turn into animals, change your looks and age, or turn into smoke.

Yes sunlight would kill you outright. Of course you can get that kickass sunblock and it would probably last at least a few minutes.

Dating members of the opposite sex, even though you could seduce them easily, might be tough because you would want to suck their blood which could hurt your relationship.

I am really attracted to the idea of living thru history...one of my most favorite movies is "Interview with a Vampire" and one of my most favorite books is "The Historian".

The idea of living for 400 or 500 or more years is fascinating to me. The opportunity to learn multiple languages, to have been alive when Pompeii got buried, to have seen the Civil War, or actually to have watched Beethovan perform would really be amazing. What about stopping in at the Sistine Chapel and watching Michelangelo work for a few hours???

Would I miss the daylight? Absolutely. But would I give that up for eternal life? Yup...because the ability to become living history is so captivating.

Yes

Id love to watch the world go by, live to see the achievements (and terrors) of mankind. To be able to see the first man on Mars and interstellar travel. Yes all youre loved ones would be gone, but lifes about living to the fullest. Sacrifices are a part of life.

The only bad thing, when the world ended, you'd be left (and without a dvd player or electricity) really bored ;)

Although eventually (5 billion years they say) the sun would consume the planet and then you'd die. But 5 billion years instead of 75ish years....sounds good to me.

I would as long as I dont have to kill anyone. I am enthralled by the powers. I would seduce a woman every night and instead of killing her just suck enough blood like a mosquito. Erase her memory and do it again the next night.

It sounds like you mean the movie vampires, which is much more tempting because they're not all rotty and gross like the original vampires of lore.

My answer is still no, because I work during the day.
Plus, while blood doesn't taste that bad, it would be gross to drink it in large amounts. It'd be all gooey and stuff.

Wait.....do vampires have to work, or do they just live in abandoned buildings and sewers? I'm not living in a sewer with the C.H.U.D.s.

I don't think I would want to live forever and have to see all of the ones that I love die. I also don't believe that I could take another person's life just to quench my own hunger. There is an upside to eternal life in the fact of knowing that you would never have to face death. But, if I were to give up my soul just so I would not have to face the fear of the unknown then I think that I would rather die.

Sure, to have the heightened senses, preternatural speed and strength, not to mention killer fashion sense. I think it would be interesting to see where the world goes in the centuries to come. And to be able to carry the knowledge and wisdom with you to pass on eventually, yeah, I think I would like it. Even though I wouldn't be truly immortal, it would still be an adventure unlike anything else!

It depends. I love Vampire and Werewolf lore, but if I had the oppertunity to become a Vampire I would probably have to think ti over for awhile. But in the end, I would probably say yes.
