Wax, leaves the skin smoother, and in my opinion lasts longer.

Plucking and waxing have the same way of removing the hair from the follicle - and that is by pulling the hair with force. The difference is that waxing uses a hot wax which may scald the skin and leave it red and tender. While plucking - plucking is done by pulling the hair one-by-one though more precise, could take a long time before you get a certain area done.

For the eyebrows - waxing is preferable if you have thick bushy brows like above the brow area and in between the eyes. If you choose this for your brows - it would be better to maintain its shape by plucking.

For the upper lip area - it would also be better to wax. But this is not adviseable for women because the hair on a woman's upper lip won't grow longer if not touched. So if you pluck, shave or wax at this area - expect that you would have to do treatments on this often.

If you have hair on your legs - you should prefer waxing over shaving and plucking due to the fact that it is a large area and you wouldn't finish removing that much hair in such a short time. They would grow unevenly eventually and you would have to repeat the process all over again.

If you prefer not to return to the spas for hair removal - it would be better if you sought for the permanent approach. Try permanent hair removal... it may be painful like the previous treatements but you don't have to experience the pain all over again.

Hope this answers your question

Legs-shave or Veet
Eyebrows- wax and fine tune with plucking
Lip-depends on how much hair you have. If it's only a few dark ones I would pluck them. If you have more hair on your lip, wax.

For the eyebrow, I like tweezing (plucking) because you have more control. It seems constant waxing by somebody just there to do their job gives many women the Minnie Mouse look. You know, all arch like McDonalds. Also they get way too thin. Waxing anywhere else is fine. For the brows, I say tweeze.

Ouch both of those hurt. I haven't tried waxing my legs or feet yet but I do know that the wax hurts the eye brows. I was setting on the couch one night and plucked one of my bfs leg hairs and he went straight to the roof. LOL.

To me the best is threading. The aesthetician uses sewing thread and removes the hair. It's a little painful, but no more so than waxing.

I think waxing is good when you need to do a large area or if you're reshaping the brow after 'letting them to' for awhile. Plucking is good for touch ups.

Wax, to me pluckin hurts worse b/c my skin is very sensitive and even tho waxing makes me red for a while, it hurts less than plucking.........plus I think waxing lasts longer.
