Oh! its simple. Dont go into scientific details. just lie down in the sun light, and when u feel it too hot, its too hot, Time to get up. Burn your skin slightly. Dont burn yourself.

I live and work not very far from shreveport, la, myself. the guy from shreveport forgot to mention that the heat index has been well over 110 for most of the last week. Gatorade and powerade sales in the area have been outrageous. as far as what temp will burn your skin, with water or something liek that, 140 for more than a few seconds would probably cause a burn on the skin. for hot air, you'd probably be looking at 180 plus to actually cause a burn.

If I'm in the sun I can burn my skin easily as I have very fair skin...but it's not the temp. it's the amount of time I spend in the sun that determines if I burn or not.

"to" hot IMO would be about 97 degrees. I live in Shreveport, La
BTW I would love 97 right now...it has been 103 plus for the last 10 days. uuuuggghhh!
