Jessica Simpson, now that's laughable (sorry I don't like her at all) but others like Angelina and Bono are true humanitarians. They donate most of there money to these organizations and they don't just talk about it like the others do, they are over there trying to help these poor people. I think there amazing!!!

No I do not think celebrities can make a difference. Because most people around the world see these very rich very healthy celebrities and think "what do they know about hardship!" Actually I think they piss off a lot of people.

Of course. They have people crying when they meet them. Most celebrities are just too concerned with $$$ to make a difference.

I think they can. A lot of people look up to celebrities, and if they endorse a charity, people are more likely to donate to it. Also if all celebrities would donate a portion of their income to charity, it would help out a lot.

they are more prevalent in society than your average joe/jane. either by the way they act, carry themselves, humanitarian work, or overall personality, usually gives people something to strive for. may not be realistic but shooting for goals is important. I say yes
