I tend to interpret the Bible using my own knowledge of things, but since I know of things in THIS world as well as the ancient world, I prefer to avoid quotes all together. I think that the Bible, as with the religion it supports, has become a crutch for too many people. They believe that the bible is the ultimate authority on EVERYTHING, and well...that is patently not the case. Also, as shown in your expample of our oh-so-illustrious leader, blind parroting of a work of literate writing is no way to achieve anything. And I think that's the most ironic thing about people who quote the bible. Many times, the 66 different books that compose that ill-edited volume are MIS-quoted, or the original depth and intellectual beauty is completely ignored. Also the Biblical books were written within very specific cultural environments that simply DO NOT exist today, so for all of the billiance, beauty, and even paradox that they present, they're not as universally relevant as many people would want them to be. This doesn't lessen their potential to illustrate certain situations, but c'mon...if anyone is gonna be expected to take Christians seriously, they're gonna have to start acting as if their own lives and their own perceptions are at least equal in relevance to the book they're quoting ad nauseum.
Brilliantly creative people wrote the Bible, but unfortunately, too many simpletons spend all of their time quoting it, because they can't be bothered to think for themselves...and since biblical verses are numbered, it makes things easier to find so rather than think for yourself, all you have to really do is count.

The Bible is the best source of moral teachings and what is righteous. Thus, many answers are based on the Bible to justify that their view is good. People have their own opinions but these are not acceptable to most people and even under the law.

The bible is fiction. Lots of great teachings in it, true. A lot one can learn from, sure. There is also a lot that is ridiculous, insane, incredulous, and terribly confusing. (yeah, I HAVE read the book, so don't bother)
People shouldn't rely on a book of fairy tales to decide human advances in science.
Example.....what if chimpy ruled spain when columbus went to court asking for money.....
Chris..."Hey King, give me money. The world is round, and I can make you big bucks by establishing new shipping routes"
King Chimp...."Well Chris, I'd like to help ya, but when I read the bible, I think it's telling me that the world is flat. If god says the world is flat, then that's it.... no sailing for you, explorer-boy"
Chris...."F**k you, monkey."
King Chimp...."Karlito!....Karlito!....we got another heritic to fry on Fox "Inquisition".

Anyone that considers their religion as "the answer" to any question is not thinking critically.
Oh, and I think you meant "their", not "there".
The bible should come with a warning:
Warning: This is a work of ficiton. Do NOT take it literally.
Content Advisory: Contains verses descriptive or advocating suicide, incest, bestiality, sadomasochism, sexual activity in a violent context, murder, morbid violence, use of drugs or alcohol, homosexuality, voyeurism, revenge, undermining authority figures, lawlessness, and human rights violations and atrocities.
EXPOSURE WARNING: Exposure to contents for extended periods of time or during formative years in children may cause delusions, hallucinations, decreased cognitive and objective reasoning abilities, and, in extreme cases, pathological disorders, hatred, bigotry, and violence including, but not limited to fanaticism, murder, and genocide.

You sound very confused. Well, it may only demonstrate the validity of your initial question, but my answer to "why Bible quotes" is this: "Where the word of a king is, there is power." Ecc. 8:4a. An answer that has any weight must come from an authoritative source. Thus...
