My husband has shopped all over for a great shirt and ties (he's an attorney so it's very important). He's narrowed it down to 2. First is Charles Tyrwhitt at http://www.ctshirts.co.uk/ they are an English company, and they make great shirts/ties. Be sure to check out their sale section because some shirts can go as low as $30! Secondly, check out thomaspink.com . They are more expensive but make gorgeous shirts. We visited their store in Vegas, and you can contact the store and order from them directly if you'd like to save shipping costs. These two companies will NOT disappoint!

Brooks Brothers, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, and Ralph Lauren are your best bets for good professional wear. These companies make clothes that are fashionable and long-lasting.

Go to Nordstrom and buy Ralph Lauren, or go to a ralph lauren outlet, or even www.polo.com and you will do well. Nordstrom generally has a nice variety of shirts and ties even if you don go with Ralph Lauren. He's just my personal favorite on a man.
