No, it just means that you are an introvert. You will probably always prefer to be alone when you are tired or upset. That normally does not change.

But you should try to broaden yourself by trying to connect with your peers more. You don't have to be someone that you are not, but it is good to step outside of your comfort zone and try to connect with people that you normally would feel strange around. It will help you grow.

Good social skills will eventually help you move upward in your career, while poor social skills will eventually hold you back. And not to mention that good social skill will help you keep your marriage together (when and if you do marry).

It's great that you can spend time alone and enjoy it. However it sounds like you are getting to bored with that situation. If you want to connect with peers and there is a barrier then there is a problem. If you get anxious in social situations; you may need to ask the question why. Get out of your shell sometimes and enjoy life. It's OK to be with others too.

Sounds as if you might be suffering from some kind of social anxiety. There is nothing wrong being comfortable with yourself and spending time in that way, but you also need to reach out to other people and make friends.

I don't know how old you are, but i am almost 40 and i have always been that way. I always had friends ,but i liked being alone alot. I never thought about it until one night i went to the movies by myself and someone thought that i did to many things alone. It bothers others more than it bothers me. Now, if you really start isolating yourself-like not leaving the house and not talking to anyone (kind-of like Howard Hughes). You need to go see your Dr.

yeah, it's perfectly fine.
I mean, dude you should love who you are since you are going to be with only one person for every second of every day and that is you (if that makes sense to you..) but sometimes you need to take some time alone so you can recollect and spend time with only yoursekf when you are not being influenced by anyone else=]

Yes, it's okay to spend time alone with yourself! Your own alone-time, is probably better company, than with most people!

I think that there is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes you just need to be alone. As long as you don't become a hermit, you're all good!

nothing wrong with that if you are not a total recluse. I like time alone too and I'm married with kids and grandkids.
