Maybelline is owned by L'Oreal U.S.A (who also owns Lancome, Biotherm, Cacharel, Garnier, Giorgio Armani, Helena
Rubinstein, Lancôme, Matrix, Maybelline, Ralph Lauren)
Their strengths I guess would be how easy they are to get, and how cheap. Weakness? They suck. Sorry but they are big animal testers. If you're okay with that then so be it, but they lose customers that do care about animal testing. (I'm not knocking anyone who isn't concerned about this). Their threat would be other companies that don't test and that can offer the same priced makeup. Revlon for example, doesn't test and is just as cheap. Just my 2 cents. Hope this helps.

Am not too sure about Cover Girl cause it's not available here. But for Maybelline I'd say their strength is that they carry the same line of products as Lancome and L'oreal (as they're the same company) at lower prices.
That's their strength. Their prices.
Just look at eyemake up removers. L'oreal,Maybelline and Lancome has a similar one but ti's cheaper.
If it's products, I'd personally say their Lash Discovery and eyebrow pencil is not bad.
