Do not even think about it. Most of these are scams. I new a couple who lost 14,000 trying to buy a Fat Boy from some one in Belgium. Dumb move. Also depending where you live you may not be able to register the bike if you did get it. If it a model made in Japan, or Italy or Germany for domestic, not export you will be in deep hot water trying to bring it in here anyway. If you are in California you will have an expensive boat anchor at best. My neighbor bought two 150cc Chinese scooters and learned the hard way. To bad he doesn't have a boat. Stick with domestic sellers, never send money up front. I have seen a motorcycle frame with bricks for weight unloaded after it was bought on line by a trusting soul. A legitimate seller will allow you to check out the goods, or at least use pay pal so if you get stung you have some recourse.

Scam. They will send you 'extra' and ask that y ou send the overage to a 'shipping agent'. The check is fake and by the time your bank finds out (can be 8-16 weeks!) you've spent the money and you can even be charged with fraud.
Back away....it's a scam.

I'm hearing a lot of scams from exactly that sort of reply. Supposedly have a certified check delivered to you. Someone else picks up the car, boat, bike, but the check is no good.

Don't do anything until you see the cash. Money talks, BS walks.
