"When we have hope,
we discover powers within ourselves
we may have never known —
The power to make sacrifices, to endure,
to heal, and to love.
Once we choose hope, everything is possible."

wrong time to ask such a question.Bf u cme here u were dying to be here. And now that u are here u ask why to live.We are really funy bunch of living things. We can crave for things and then when we have we question them.Drop the questioning part. as i can feel u have just been questioning things for a while.Take a dive into the mysterious life.be a mystery.Life is a mystery it cannot be solved u have to become mysterious to understand it.Live like a Buddha.Feel the bilss all the time.Such questions will never come to u then. But its good u asked it.Some people just keep on living it without even asking.BUt when u wonder then the ultimate is not too far away.It shall come charging at u.Seek the ultimate for there u shall find the answer.Best of luck.
May ur meditations go deeper and deeper evey day.MAy love envelop u from all sides....and it does..

In my humble opinion, this question is equivalent to why we exist. Did we choose to exist / live? Perhaps superficially, we do not make the choice but subconciously, had we chosen this path? Yes, we have and we live to find the meaning in living. That's my answer. :)

Well, we don't have much chois do we? It all began with an accident. We didn't choose to be here. Life simply evolved, out of anyones control. Like atulanand says "Life is a mystery........., be a mistery......." god man, its not 70's. Time to lay down your weed and get down to reality. Lifes only mistery is that there is no mystery to it.
Yes it's cold, yes it's harsh, yes it's hard to accept; but isn't truth allways...

I think the Aposlte Paul said it best in Philippians 1:21, "To live is Christ, but to die is gain."
