with yahoo web based e-mail you can only delete 25 messages at a time, by clicking on the checkbox that is above the others (not in a row with a message to the right) that will select all 25 messages that are visable on your screen, then click delete
repeat this for every message that you want to delete, 25 at a time, pain in the backside i know

Above and below all of your messages there is(are) a check all/uncheck all button(s). Select that and then click delete. All of your inbox messages will go to the trash folder....wait...you are talking about Yahoo! RIGHT!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!?

If you have Yahoo, you must put a check mark next to your
email & hit delete, then it goes into the trash bin.
You go there & hit "select all/or check all" and then hit delete
& it will clear all the messages & your trash box will be empty.
I would read your emails first and then do it...

You know the little boxes beside the message? Click on each one of them and click delete. I t will say, Are You Sure You Want To Delete All Items? Click yes. That's all there is to it. Good luck. :)

I think there is a checkbox which will let you select all the mail of inbox. Just check it and press delete. If there is no checkbox, you can select the first mail, then hold down shift and select the last mail. Then press delete.
Hope this help.:)

If you are using Yahoo! mail, there are checkboxes to the left side of the messages. Above those there is a single box-if you click that, all of the checkboxes will be selected, and will be deleted after you click Delete.

Highlight one and push Ctrl A (all). Or highlight the top one and push shift while clicking on the bottom one.
Hit the Delete key or right click on them and delete.
