My favorite memory would be a birthday when I was ten years old celebrated with my mother. She took me to an Elvis impersonation formal sit down dinner. I was personally recognized by "ELVIS" and he gave me a stuffed bear and my mom a rose while singing "Teddy Bear". Such a simple and joyous time in life.

Afer I jumped into the ocean to snorkle .... I was pretty nervous -- it was wavy and my first time --- then I held a cracked sea urchin in my hand and all these beautiful fish that I was afraid of came and ate out of my hand. In aninstant I was calmed and no longer afraid -- I was just so peaceful.

Another close favorite is spending the last days with my grandmother before she passed away. Goodbye was hard, but I felt so fortunate to have that time with her.

Going on trips with my family. We had a truck and camper, the kin with the bed that went over the cab of the truck. My brother and I used to ride in the camper and we would get up in the bed, when we saw a hitchhiker with his thumb out, we would give hime a thumbs down, and most of the ime they would give us the finger. It took my dad the longest time to figure out why hitchhiker kept givig him the finger. We all had the best laugh about that when he finaly figured it out.

Spending the summer learning french with a bunch of strangers right after graduation...no money, no idea about my future. It was a summer full of adventure and boundless possibilities. If I close my eyes I'm back there again...and now I'm smiling...Thank you for taking me back.
