the latest rip off is the post office as they cant put the price of stamps up they are adding extra cost by charging the size of the enverlope.and we britsh stand for it,

We get ripped off simply because we let it happen, not enough people stand up to the governments we tend to complain about things but don't stand together to do anything about it.

The increasing charges at the Post Office are due to the government's recent changes in the law allowing private firms to compete for delivering your post. These private firms will probably give more competitive rates to businesses for bulk postage but not to regular public mail. Hence the Royal Mail, being at a loss, has quickly increased the basic price of first and second stamps.
I think we're being ripped off all the time because corporations are more powerful than governments.

That may be because all of the people in Britian who were willing to fight a war over things like "The Stamp Act" moved to America and had a revolution in 1776 when the government tried to put that one over on us.
