My boyfriend says that there will never be a woman president, but if Hilary runs I know that I'm going to vote for her. I've heard from a lot of people who voted for Bush say that they would vote for her as well. I think she would win. What do you all think?

Don't know. I'm registered independent, so I'm not sure which party I'll vote for this time around.

But I do think that one day, we'll have a woman president.

No. She still has Bill Clinton's stink associated with her. Also, she flip flops her platform based on the way the public mood swings. I also remember her in an interview with Katie Couric when the Monica Bill thing was starting to heat up, but it hadn't been confirmed that Bill did the deed. She was stating that it was all a 'vast right wing conspiracy' and the rumours were false. Katie asked a question about what if it turned out that the rumours were true. Hillary answer that she was no tammy wynette and she wouldn't stand by her man. The rumours turned out to be true and she stood by her man.

I would have gained some respect for her had she left him.

While I disagree with your boyfriend, because it is only time that we'll see a female President, I really hope it isn't Hillary. She falling away from her base right and she's doing some crazy things. I've heard from far more people that they will not vote for Hillary, she's on some shaky ground and upsetting some influential people - her own party is completely backing her anymore. If I were you, I would look deeper into why you want her.

I think Hillary would make an excellant president, she is a strong, intelligent woman that isn't afraid to stand up for what is right. She also would have an excellant adviser in her husband, the last legally elected president. He was also the most successful at the business of running the country in over 40 yrears.

You'd better believe I'd vote for her. She's the best qualified person to be President. And, we need another Clinton in the White House - remember how good things were in the '90's?

For God's sake...all I read here is a gender discussion. Nobody is talking about policy and leadership capability.

Wasn't her failed 1994 health care proposal supposed to give us a preview of how effective she'd be in solving difficult problems? Her proposal for mandated employer-provided health care for all employees managed by a huge new federal bureaucracy was soundly defeated... by a Democratic controlled congress!

If you can't put thru a health care plan at the behest of your Democrat - President husband with a Democratic-controlled congress and a fawning press...well how on earth are you going to run the United States of America?

She will run for president. I will vote against her. After reading a couple of her books, there are two unescapable conclusions that can be drawn:

1. She's a very intelligent woman.
2. She's a firm believer in communism.

You would vote for a person who lies, stays with a cheating husband (so she can stay in power) and is so disingenuous, WHY. Hillary will never be the president. Vote on real information and not what other people think and say.

No. Some of her actions have been seditious. At the same time I won't support sedition against her. She is a former First Lady and a Senator, and deserving of the respect that service has gained her.

In additon, I do not believe it would be good for President Clinton's legacy to be in that position. He would be attacked by many seditious people who claim Republican status and that won't be good for our country.

Speak up against sedition. That's what will make it possible for our Presidents to do the best job.

Please don't vote for someone just because she is a woman.

I go for a person's stance on issues. I would vote for Condoleezza Rice but I would never vote for Hillary Clinton.

Hillary won't win anyway. Unless America wants terrorists to go crazy again like they did in the 90s.
