I know they delayed their "Panama Project" search features, but what is the reason Google stocks rise faster than Yahoo. I'm hearing privacy issues...

According to news reports: "delay of a much-anticipated change in the company's formula for displaying ad links by one to three months" plus lower earnings estimates by analysts.

Plus this from an article: "Google has been far more adept than Yahoo at analyzing what people are entering into a search box or reading on a Web page and then quickly deciphering which ads are most likely to gain attention to possibly garner a revenue-producing click. "

Yahoo! is a great search engine and I use Yahoo! for my home page and I encourage others to do the same. However, I question whether Yahoo! is a company with the scope of ambition that a company like Google has.

I don't know ehere Yahoo's revenue stream comes from besides advertising. And I don't see any advertising here in the new Yahoo! Answers section.

Kudos to Yahoo!, as I prefer posting to to Answers rather than responding to messages on craigslist, as the concatenation of responses becomes much easier to keep track of.

Bravo Yahoo!, may you kick Google's butt next quarter !

IMO they changed their stock msg boards and charting and the new service is to cumbersome so everyone is leaving.Plus they figured their hits on their website in an inappropriate manor(fraud??)
