Issues? Since 1980, the guy with the lower IQ always wins, John Wayne > Albert Einstein.

Bush's tax cuts & refunds have been offset by higher gas prices. These are the only issues which have directly affected almost all Americans (especially voters). Both parties will avoid discussing gas prices.

The winning candidate will appear to be a strong or stable father figure, the loser will appear to be an egghead or curmudgeon.
