I have a childhood friend, we were good friends until on senior high school time, she moved to another town for her father's assigned job. I lost contact with her since then. She's now a famous person in our country. I saw her several times in some places. I sometimes feel like to greet her but i am afraid that she might forget me and i will feel ashamed with that and people will think i am crazy or fan of her, which i am not.

I bet you would enjoy again seeing a childhood friend that wasnt famous. It sounds like you see her as she is and I bet that would be refreshing as well as getting to see someone from her past.

Even if she didnt immediately remember, you will want to remind her as you would any friend from you past. What a treat it will be for both of you!
