im a citizen of argentina but a permanent resident of the united states....im highly considering trying to get a job in italy after grad school...im doing art history/museum studies and italy has some of the world's most beautiful art...so it makes sense (i just have to work on my italian)

anyway, i think i read somewhere that being an argentine citizen, i can have dual citizenship with italy...is this true? if so, how long do you have to live or work in a country before you can apply for citizenship???

Each country has different rules - check with the local embassy for all the details. Also, for dual citizenship, one country may not recognize the duality while the other country will accept both...it's weird =P
