Neopet, there are a lot of choices also, u can have as many as u like (KIDDING)
I suggest u go to animal adoption centre at your place there? There are many abandoned animals there waiting to be adopted and given a warm home.. I'm not sure got rabbit or not, but maybe u will see better pet u love there. Why not go to visit and have a try?

Many animal shelters have baby bunnies because people accidentally let their bunnies breed, and don't want to look after all the babies. In Perth, Canada the adoption fee is about $15, which is darn close to free! You are also saving an animal's life. I know some farmers who give away bunnies up here, usually adults though. Make sure you know how to care for your bunny properly so he has a long and healthy life.

Well.. if you live in the San Gaberial Valley, most Human Societies have rabbits in their cages. Also these is a pet adoption place in Pasadena where they have TERRIFIC rabbits. So... ENJOY YOUR NEW PET. :) Other than that, just check with your nearest human society. They most likely will have one.
