What do you think of Israel's actions? I think they're criminal.?

Alright, I was born in the U.S. and I'm Christian, but I cannot believe the kinds of terror that Israel is wreaking in Beirut. Countless civilians are being killed, women and children included. Lebanon is full of Christians too! While I know Israel is 'trying' to focus the bombing on the southern areas, certainly the civilians are paying a very high price. If Israel is trying to stir up anti-Semetic sentiment, they are definitely meeting that goal. What do you think?

jordanian, I am right there with you. Instead of bombing, where you can't tell whether you're killing the good guys or the bad guys, why didn't they send some equivalent of the FBI or Secret Service to go and use snipers to kill the real bad guys?

Why don't you think the Muslims are criminal? After all, they are the terrors of the world. They have suicide bombers who walk ito mlls and kill innocent civillains, included children. Israelis have never done that.

If governments don't reign in terrorists operating inside their borders, then the people those terrorists target will have to do the job for them.

I don't go particularly for Israel or Lebanon, but I certainly am not going to stand up and start crying down a country for protecting its own interests.

People say "Oh, its just two soldiers." If a woman had eight children and I only kidnap one of them, should the police let it go because somebody might get killed in the crossfire if there is a shootout.

if you think being subject to numerous terrorist attacks, and trying to defend yourself is criminal, then yes, it is criminal for Israel. This mideast tension is not new. This conflict has been going on since 1948, with weekly bombings, and larger conflicts since 1948. Almost every week, prior to Israel getting fed up with this, there were bombings in Israel. Do you also remember the Olympics in the 1970's when all of the Israeli athletes were murdered? (there was just a movie put out on this topic). so please, don't think this is unprovoked. It's a 60 year development, that most have forgotten.

I think that death, explosions and war is a way of life in the Middle East and that if Israel didn't fight back, the countries that surround them would wipe them off the face of the map.
And don't look now but the world is already very anti-Semitic, even before this. I expect it'll only get worse. It's a damned shame that the world learned nothing from WWII.

I think the rest of the world that has a terrorist problem - France, Britian, northern Africa, the U.S. is letting Israel do they're dirty work for them. Hezbollah and related groups are a bunch of self important, chest beating mad dog warlords like Attilah the Hun who just about destroyed western civilization by betting on their opponent's (the powers of the western world) "civilized" response to aggression. if they really cared about their soldiers, they have killed more than 30 now, do they really care. or they just want to kill to show whos the boss? the media control americas minds, did you know about the bombing of the church a few years ago. it was a blood bath from the priest to the servants to the worshipers all of em were sprayed with bullets, i dont think cnn put that on its news. and guess what, a lot of muslims went out to support these christians. The media does not want to show that Muslims are really peaceful, you cannot base your decision on what one person did, "osama" if it was like that then i would base my descision on the priest who had sex with a young boy, is that sick or what?? but still i did not judge the christain religion one bit. i still have many many christain friends, study groups..etc one man does not represent millions of people.

I agree. They have the same problem as President Bush in thinking that a military solution can end all of their political problems. I guess that time will show that they have only succeeded in making every Palestinian and every Lebanese their enemy.
