Yes, they can be British. They just can't be made by Americans. And I don't mean South Americans. Movies made in South America count.

WOW People, I am impressed. Glad to see that there are Americans who actually watch and enjoy foreign movies. I have seen some of the ones you mentioned but others are new to me so you gave me some good ideas. Keep the answers coming.

I watch certain foreign films (especially German ones and anything by Akira Kurosawa). Some of my favorites include The Sacrifice, Wernor Herzog's Nosferatu the Vampyre, Run Lola Run, Kung Fu Hustle, Das Boot, Seven Samurai, The Hidden Fortress, The Professional, Ringu, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and The Devil's Backbone. Sometimes I find foreign films more interesting and better to watch than American or English language films. I can always find something unique when I'm bored with our own movies (which does happen from time to time). Very good question.

should see the Korean Version of Brokeback Mountain... The King and the clown.. good movie and I heard 1 out of 4 koreans actually saw that movie....Cheers
