when i'm changing channels on the radio, sometimes I know the song before i hear the first note. Is there a delay in the time it takes for my brain to process the fact that i hear a note compared to my hearing the note?

Pavlov’s theory on conditioning of the human brain might apply to you.
Perhaps you are very or naturally sensitive to the sound or conditions of words/sounds connecting to titles. So anything that triggers your brain neurons such as a DJ’s introduction to the song or the least sound of a note tips you off to know the title of the song. You don’t salivate... you remember...Just a theory…You must be very talented regarding music and songs.

maybe......but since radio stations have a playlist that they usually stick to day by day that rarely changes it's not uncommon for you to know what song is being played next with out even hearing the 1st note......thats if your a frequent radio listener.

It's a gift, I know movies before they start, I can even tell what movie a song was played in.

Maybe you're psychic.

Or maybe they play the same crap over and over so much that it has become so predictable that you know what's next.
