Mine was Black Hawk Down too, I usually like more modern military movies, I wish they'd make another desert storm one, jarhead blowed.
There's a low-budget movie made in canadian studios called "American Soldier: A Day in Iraq" but its nothing short of fantastic, it shows the real side of war without the distracting Hollywood acting. It's real.

My favorite military movie would probably be Saving Private Ryan. Tom Hanks is great in it and the story is very powerful - with emotion and action.
