The Scooby Doo movie I have he is animated. I don't think they could get a dog that could do all the stuff the Scooby Doo does. That is probably why they don't have a real dog.

No it is not because the real people weren't talking to anything but when the movie was almost complete they added scooby in there after that. So to give you a straight answer No.

No, Scooby was computer generated but in Scooby-Doo2 during the dancing scene, they had a real person do the dancing and created Scooby's image over it.

No at the end of the movie you can look up credits or the making and it shows that scooby is a FEMALE dressed up in one of those costumes where on T.V. she looks like scooby.

The dog is a computer animation "photoshopped" in to the movie. The actors act around the space where the dog will be, pretending to interact with him.
