why did obi (i think thats his name) why did he die? he followed the rules and went in the oven?

what exactly did the note say? didn't it say get both? he played the rules didn't he?!

He died because he played by the rules and lost. Once the trap was set, there was an out. A valve with the picture of the devil next to it, had something to do with what the killer had said earlier. He could have crawled through the fire and turned off the flames, burning himself. But he didn't, and stood there trying to escape without going through the flames, and chose death.

Its a trap actually, The first needle was save but the second one when he tried to pull, (go take a recap), he actually activate the trap to have the door closed and got burned

Wasn't he only supposed to take a certain amount of them and took more? Can't remember.

because he didn't get the needles in time. He had to get two needles with the antidote in them out and he didn't make it.
