the most unindustrialized, impoverished, and poorest continent on the planet? Of the seven continents; Africa provides the least to the rest of the world, yet the rest of the world is continually helping its starving nations. How can this be the place where life itself started? Could it be that all the smart ones that had enough common sense to leave that God forsaken continent thousands of years ago got up and left and all the dumbasses stayed behind?

The rest of us, according to scientific FACT, not theory, migrated out of Africa about 60,000 years ago. There was no industry or technology of any kind, so that kinda makes your whole premise moot!

Africa is poor because the Europeans/Americans and others took most of the gold, diamonds, etc. from them. Africans did not put much value on these things. ex. A lot of people that live in the D.C. Metropolitan area have never been to the Monument. A person might come from another state or even another country just to see it. What it all boils down to is that people from other countries went over to Africa, took what they felt was valuable and then got rich off of it. By the time the Africans realized that they had been totally taken advantage of, it was too late. So in a sense, Africa has been raped! This rape created self hatred! The foreigners soon claimed land and ownership. Many countries in Africa have selected English as their main language, some even speak French! Can you imagine! These so-called poor people were living their lives as intended. They were probably very content people until the intruders came along.
You ask how could this be a place where it all started? Well, hasn't most of the worlds natural resources come from Africa? Your comment about the "smart ones" seems totally ignorant! Dumbasses for staying behind????
What is so bad about being unindustrialized??? After all, man made paved roads, factorys, stores, etc., but nature made the natural resources that were taken from Africa. Those same natural resources were used to fund the factorys, paved roads, stores, etc. in other foreign lands! (MATERIALISTIC HUH?)

Nobody has any theories as to where life started. When life started, the continents were in a totally unrecognizable clump somewhere on a sea of molten lava.

Some people believe that HUMANS first evolved in africa, or that God created some garden somewhere near africa. Probably, the humans that have been in africa for so long have used up all the resources that were really useful, leaving a husk of a continent from which they started kicking all the really interesting people out.

Something similar may be going on in Europe right now, where most of their nations economies are turning to crap.

AFRICA ISN'T LIKE IT WAS 1 MILLION YEARS AGO.
AND THE REASON THAT THEY(THE SCIENTIST)BELIEVE THAT THEORY IS BECAUSE THEY FOUND BONES OF AN AFRICAN WOMAN AND THE BONES WERE OVER 50,000YRS OLD.
THEY ALSO DID RESEARCH ABOUT GENETIC MARKERS IN PEOPLE.
WHAT THEY FOUND WAS THAT BY TESTING AFRICANS AND OTHER RACES,WE ALL HAVE THE 1 MARKER THAT CONNECTS US(MANKIND)TO AFRICANS.

AND NOT THAT THE EARLY AFRICANS WERE SMART IN LEAVING AFRICA,THEY JUST MIGRATED.
AND IF THAT GROUP DIDN'T MIGRATE THERE WOULDN'T BE ANY OTHER RACES ON THE PLANET.

AND AS FAR AS AFRICA NOT PROVIDING(THAT'S CRAZY)CAUSE,EVERY PRECIOUS JEWEL IS FROM AFRICA.
DIAMONDS,AMETHYST,RUBIES,ETC.........
AND IT'S NOT A GOD FORSAKEN CONTINENT.
SURE THERE IS FAMINE IN SOME PARTS BUT IN WHOLE IT IS A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY WITH BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE.

AND WHY DO YOU ASK THAT QUESTION WITH SUCH ANGER?
I MAY BE WRONG BUT YOU SOUND ANGRY.

JUST GO TO YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY AND READ ABOUT AFRICAS HISTORY.
THEY HAD THIS GREAT DOCUMENTARY ABOUT HOW THE OTHER RACES CAME ABOUT.
IT WAS CALLED:THE REAL ADAM AND EVE(OR THE REAL EVE,I FORGOT)
IT SHOWED HOW,MEXICANS,EUROPEANS,INDIANS,ETC....
CAME FROM THE GROUP OF AFRICANS THAT MIGRATED.

P.S.
THE GARDEN OF EDEN IS IN AFRICA.
YOU KNOW WHERE ADAM AND EVE(THE 1ST MAN AND WOMAN)WAS CREATED.
THIS ISN'T SOMETHING NEW.
I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU DIDN'T KNOW THIS ALREADY.

P.P.S.
BALLS AND BOOT KNOCKA,I'LL PRAY 4 YOU.
PEACE AND LOVE 2 ALL RACES.

I just want to second Normobrian's answer. Also, I don't think it was common sense to move out of paradise and into areas where man was not meant to survive. In places such as Africa, man does not need to adapt his environment to survive. The environment is perfect for man's existence, which is why life began there, and why life hasn't changed all that much, relatively speaking. Those who left Africa moved into climates that can kill a human unless he/she adapts by creating false environments. The climate also meant that there were months of the year when man could do nothing but sit on his *** waiting for food to become available again. Therefore, he had to develop ways to have food during the non-growing months (winter), and then he had a lot of time on his hands in cramped quarters, so he developed other industries. It all snowballed. Meanwhile, back in Africa, man continued to exist day to day because there was no reason to change.

Now we have a situation where the world is overpopulated and this has led to famine in some parts of Africa due to poor management of land resources and crop yields. In addition, there are parts of Africa, like there are parts of the Middle East, Europe, and South America, that are always war torn. There are certainly cultural factors to the lack of development in Africa that only the Africans themselves can be blamed for, but Europe also had a hand in creating the Africa we have today.

As for natural resources, keep an eye on Africa. Everybody is currently courting African countries, especially China but also the US, because of its relatively untapped oil resources.

As for the tone of your question, it sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder about Africa and I wonder why. Have you ever been there? Do you know many Africans? I agree that it is time for Africans to stand up and begin to take responsibility for the mess they live in, but I don't think they can do it alone. Strides have been made in terms of self monitoring of corrupt leaders in Africa. There is still a long way to go but this is the first step to the beginning of the vitalization of the African economy. It is in our best interests, as Westerners, that this happen.

first of all, this is a theory not an idea because oldest known archeological remains of humans were found in africa. secondly, it's the western capitalism that make those peoples starve. you are making a senseless comparison between a time that we cannot really understand and a world completely different in 21.century

Well, if you believe in evolution, most primates originated in Africa, and if you believe in God, the Real World Garden of Eden was inbetween the Eurphardies and the Tigeris which are in Africa...

You've answered your own question. Actually, non-Africans have had to evolve to meet changing climatic environments, whereas, if you don't move, you don't need to change.

And as for resources, dumbass above, how about oil, natural gas, diamonds, gold, uranium, lumber, etc. White people are the only ones who benefit from those, though, and the dictators they support.

Eden was at the corner of four rivers. Two of which we still have today. Euphrates being one of them. Tigris being the other. my geography is rusty but aren't they over in the middle east somewhere? Genesis chapter 2:10-14 Hiddekel=tigres according to notes in my Bible NKJV

As you mention in your question, that is a theory. I think you question was made only as an excuse to spout your racism and bigotry. So, I guess you won't pick mine as the best answer.
