There was a book I read almost 10 years ago at a young age that I absolutely loved and have been searching for since. I checked it out at a library in a state I don't live in anymore, so I never owned it. Over the years I forgot the title of the book and the author and could not find it when I tried looking for it again. Today I just started this Yahoo Answer thingy and decided to just go for it and ask if anyone knew the title of this book. I gave a brief description of what I could remember. A very vague description, and someone...named Michael S.......FOUND IT! 8 years of searching for this book and I FINALLY FOUND IT!!!! I'm now so happy and so excited. I'm ordering the book tomorrow. My search is finally over due to Yahoo! Answers. ^_^
The book is titled "The Ancient One" by T.A. Barron, which I will now NEVER forget.

Well, yes. In the first place it helps me to understand where other people are coming from, what is important to them, and how they think about things.
It's giving me writing practice everyday. I find out what I know and what I don't.
There are times when I think I can help others through my answers and that gives me a good feeling.
Sometimes the questions and answers are just funny and make a for a good laugh, which we all need once in a while.
I don't know how long I'll continue, but it's sort of become my hobby for awhile.

Yes! It's inspired me to get a REAL life! LOL I'm kidding. It can be interesting, and sometimes fun.

It has helped me to understand that there are a lot of people who really need answers to serious questions, and maybe aren't sure where to go to get them.
I think it's a great way for people to share info.

It's affected my life because I've become addicted to it. Wasting my time on this thing instead of preparing my lunch for tomorrow...I work even on Saturday.

No. Having said that, I enjoy reading the questions and answers and coming up with responses of my own. I definitely think it is a good thing. What about you? What has your experience been?

I would have to say that it has neither inspired or affected. The better word would be "afflicted". I need help!!!
