Not sure. As a Liberal Democrat, it's one of the things that is too often attributed to us. I can't stand it either. Revisionist history is being taught to our kids and the limited contributions of one group are elevated above the many contributions of others.

Political Correctness is a bad thing all the way around. As adults we should be able to speak reality and not in "Deadwood" subltities that don't speak to the truth of a thing.

I think Political Correctness grew out of a desire not to offend, but in a free speaking, free thinking democracy what could be more democratic!?!

By correctly pointing out that marxsim was the genesis for nazism, communism and socialism and their resulting genocides of hundreds of millions of people......as well as the genesis of liberalism with its political correctness version of totalitarian thought. From there it is a short leap to make being a liberal punishable by death.
