there is this movie that i saw a while ago. it was about this woman who married a guy and he was very abusive. they had a kid together. it was a little girl. one nite the woman decited she had enough and tried to leave. i think her dad and friend were there to help her. her and her daughter traveled all across the country to get away from him. at one point in the movie they go to a diner and the waitress askes the girl what her name was and the girl replied she didnt know. she said that because she was having to change her name alot.

The movie you' re referring to is probably, "Enough" which starred Jennifer Lopez aka "JLo", Juliette Lewis (starred as her BFF) & Bill Campbell (the abusive husband).
At the end of the movie, Jennifer Lopez's character has had "enough" (pun intended) decided to get back at her husband by becoming something similar to that of a female Rambo.

Enough with Jenniger Lopez. I loved that movie, especailly at the end where she beat the living hell out of him and then killed him in self defense.
