No. Not even close. There are nice areas (Miami) and really dumpy areas (Tampa). But either way your gonna pay a lot more than you will ever get out of it. There are nicer places, much nicer places.

NOO stay out of here!! I'm from Boston but im studying at the University of Miami. Outside South Beach, there is nothing but homelessness, uneducated people, and 24" rims on 68 Chevys. I cant wait to graduate and get the hell outta here!

It's a great vacation spot, but if you are from somewhere like New York or Michigan you will be appalled by the poor educational system, lack of social services, and non-existant consumer and labor protections. Not a great place to LIVE unless you have plenty of money.

South Beach Miami has the most beautiful water and clean beaches. Its a great hot spot to party, buts its extremely pricey.

Depends on your slant, cracked up. I live in a Cracker House, 90 years old, great!!!! Life is what YOU make it.

Not really. It does have nice parts, as any state does, but it is over priced and so bloody humid. I'd take SoCal any day.

Depends what your looking for. And what area your in. I moved here in 86. And would never go back. Love it.! NO SNOW TO SHOVEL!
