You can quarantine them and then find out if those files are something needed by your Windows. If you dont need them, just delete them. Quarantine will isolate those files so that it won't infect other files.

You need to make sure you dont need the files because some viruses will infect a Windows file. I have had many people delete a file that was infected and then their Windows did not start up normally. Keep it quarantined until you know for a fact that those are files you can remove, then delete them.

if ur using norton or macaffe just do nothin instead go to trendmicro.com and do a scan there its free and its a REAL antivirus not a piece of crap like norton then do a spyware scan there to if it finds anythin just delete the stuff it finds

do not use system restore ull be restoring the viruses to becuz those files will also be infected every 1 knows its safer to have system restore turned off !!!!!

welp...depends on wat kinda antivirus software u r using...n how it is configured...if prompted wheter to delete or quarantine, better choose delete, unless u want to investigate which files being infected n those files r important(files associated with system)...but usually when it cant b deleted, the software will automatically quarantine the infected files...later,when u update the antivirus software,it will send the info of the quarantined files to the database for any patches or updated virus patterns to handle@delete those infected files...if the virus pattern is not available during the update, dont worry...they will use the information they got from those infected files and find some ways to settle the problems.... >_<

Quarantine and then use your computer for a few days. If everything is working OK, you can go back and delete them if you wish

Usually the program will finish up and ask what you'd like to do. Delete them!
