The congress can't charge him with treason because they don't have the power to do that.

The can only impeach, censure, or kick out of office.

I asked a similar question and found out that treason is starting a war against the US when you are a citizen of it. Bush hasn't done that. He misled Congress into believing we need to start a war, but then we need to vote out a gullible congress for not checking facts, too.

They can't, he hasn't done anything. There are some in Congress who should be worried because THEY are undermining the United States and this is treason.

Please don't try this "Constitution, Bill of Rights, Writ of Habeas Corpus" junk either. During all other Wars what Bush is doing has been done. He actually has been mild, ever hear about FDR sending all Japanese Americans to camps during WWII? How about FDR again, sending all those who protest WWII to Canada? He kicked them out of the country!!!

And apparently, being hit by terrorists isn't a reason to go to War... don't forget what happened.

If absolutely everyone should be charged with treason, it ought to were Jane Fonda. bypass ahead and google her and see what she did in the course of the Vietnam warfare. Bush did no longer some thing treason est or some thing unlawful. Did you no longer understand that many many democrats stated the very similar ingredient about WMD's that Bush stated? Google Clinton for one about this.

George Bush has not committed treason against this country. Once he has, congress then will take the appropriate action towards him.

By Invoice, for damages done to the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Geneva Convention, the Writ of Habeas Corpus, and the people of the United States.

And heck we'll even give him payment terms of 2% 10 for quick pay!!!

I'm against Bush as much as the next guy, but he hasn't done that crime. And, FYI, you can't charge him against any war crimes either. Something I read in Maxim's Ask Anything section I saw a year back.
